IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF ONLINE HARASSMENT

Online harassment is when someone repeatedly sends threatening messages on the internet or attempts blackmail based on personal data (e.g. photos). If you work online, be vigilant and find out about your rights. If you are harassed online, don’t try to manage alone, seek help from colleagues, relatives or an association.

OUR ADVICE

— Keep as much evidence of harassment as possible with screenshots — Block people who harass you

— Report problematic content several times, such as photos of you that are published without your consent. You can ask friends and family to help you report it

— Keep a copy of the processes you follow (reports, etc.) online.

Online harassment is punishable by law. It is possible to report this type of incident to the police.
